Lucent Sky AVM 2.9 release information

New features included in Lucent Sky AVM 2.9

  • Improved compatibility with JSP files - Improvements have been made to make applications with complex JSP inclusion/referencing structure more compatible with Lucent Sky AVM.

  • Additional functionalities in IDE plug-ins and CLI - Advanced functionalities that had been only available on the Web UI have been made available in Visual Studio Extension, Eclipse plug-in and the CLI, such as finer controls when creating a new application or starting a new scan. Also, users now have the ability to mitigate vulnerabilities by group (such as a certain CWE ID), as well as undoing specific mitigations done in the IDE plug-ins.

Lucent Sky AVM 2.9 does not include fixes of existing issues.

Known issues of Lucent Sky AVM 2.9

  • CLEAR Engine
    • When activating a new Lucent Sky AVM server installation on certain hardware configurations, the activation fails with error code -999 or -1079. To workaround this issue, contact Lucent Sky support to obtain the hotfix.
  • Web UI
    • The Mitigate option is not available if a scan is completed with warnings (represented by having a positive scan result code, such as 1151). To workaround this issue, contact Lucent Sky support to obtain the hotfix.
